Abstract :
In this paper, the performance of four techniques of channel estimation in WCDMA land mobile multipath radio scenario has been compared by computer simulations. These techniques are used for fading compensation in received signals. In these methods the time multiplexed pilot symbols have been used to represent the downlink (from base to mobile terminal) of WCDMA in FDD mode. Three conventional scenarios: Indoor, Pedestrian, and Vehicular have been used in these simulations. The simulation results show that ICE method has the best performance among all scenarios.
