Abstract
A method is presented for formation of an MK image of an arbitrarily long object. This is done by translating the object continuously through the magnetically homogenous volume of the MRI scanner, acquiring data during table motion, and accounting during the reconstruction for the relative displacement of the object for each cach measurement. The method is applied to MR imaging of the blood vessels of the abdomen, pelvis, and legs using intravenous administration of contrast material. Real-time reconstruction allows the operator to dynamically track the flow of contrast material through the legs and potentially adjust the table velocity interactively.
