Abstract :
This paper deals with fault diagnosis of tolerance circuits by a fault dictionary method based on branch screening. The proposed technique is capable of detecting and locating common fault models in tolerance circuits, namely the catastrophic and parametric faults. The component tolerance effects are well taken care of. A fault threshold function and a fault criterion are proposed and then applied to fault detection. The second processing by the proposed fault attaching function can further locate faulty components. The proposed strategy is demonstrated by simulation tests.
