Abstract :
The close connection between Toeplitz and Vandermonde matrices has been noted earlier. The current paper elaborates on their relation in cases where the Toeplitz matrix is singular or ill-conditioned. We present theoretical results and an application of a linear predictive model with the unbiased autocorrelation estimate.
