Abstract :
Based on the 2-D (two-dimensional) Haar SDWT (stationary discrete wavelet transform), a new edge-preserving filtering through multiscale spaces for image denoising is presented in this letter. Advantages of this approach are made both in algorithm and noise-smoothing capability. Examples are performed to illustrate the performance of the proposed filtering.
