Abstract :
This paper presents a new method named "node-splitting algorithm" used to deal with the power system electromagnetic transient network partition and parallel simulation. According to this method, node splitting is used to partition the original network and the boundary buses voltage\´s equal function is used to reconcile the whole system. Combined with the other method-decoupling method through long transmission lines, not only the electromagnetic transient simulation\´s speed rises a lot, but also the network partition becomes very flexible. The application sample of the modified IEEE 14-bus system\´s parallel simulation has validated this method.
