Abstract
An improved method is proposed to find the optimal probability distribution function and estimate the power spectrum of gas sensors used in an electronic nose. It was validated by experiments for some typical MOS and electrochemical gas sensors. The results are valuable in noise cancelling and odour analysis using the noise power spectrum.
