Abstract :
In the environment of transformation of PSTN from the digital networks with channel commutation into the package switching networks, apart from the need to address such issues as the network architectural build-up, quality of service, network management etc., there are issues of having the NGN equipment tested for either compatibility among various manufacturers and compatibility of services with the existing ones in the process of exploitation of the NGN equipment
