  • Abstract
    In this paper, a novel scheme of transmit training sequence is proposed for estimating the channel of the MIMO MC-CDMA system. This scheme is to stretch out the existing pilot-symbol-aided approach with single multicarrier pilot symbol to the extended scheme proposed by mean of multiple multicarrier pilot symbols. Rather than being limited by M les[K/L] in the conventional method, the proposed scheme can support larger number of concurrent users under the relation M les [T x K/L] we derived, where T, K, M, and L are represented respectively as contiguous training sequence period with all T pilots, number of subcarriers, number of users or number of transmit antennas, and number of path or nonzero taps. Computer simulations evaluated the proposed estimator. And the results demonstrate merits of the proposed technique
