  • Abstract
    A novel approach for simulating the periodic steady state of ring oscillators with the harmonic balance method is described. A single delay cell based equivalent circuit is simulated and used to determine the response of the overall circuit. This results in an algorithm that is computationally efficient and readily converges for a variety of ring oscillator circuits.
