Abstract
In this paper an asymptotic stability criterion for linear neutral delay systems is obtained based on frequency-domain with the theory of matrix analysis. The criterion is expressed in terms of the spectral radius of the matrix which is the combination of the modulus matrices of systems. The numerical examples given show its effectiveness and it is less conservative than those in the literature.
