Abstract
This paper describes a multi-channel ASIC intended for use with position sensitive charged particle detectors. As such each channel connects to one element of a charge capture electrode array. Current-mode techniques have been employed to increase bandwidth and to provide low impedance input nodes. Low input impedance helps to reduce capacitive crosstalk between channels. The chip was fabricated in a 1.2µm BiCMOS process, each channel occupies 70µm by 650µm of silicon area and dissipates 1.4mW.
