Abstract
This paper describes a device suitable for driving two inductive motors (a DC brushless triphase one and a DC one) including all the control loops digitally implemented through an ASDSP. The circuit includes power output stages together with a large amount of digital part (40000 gate) and some fine analog circuits (14-bit ADC). The technology used (BCD5) is a mixed 0.6µm technology to demonstrate the feasibility of the control from a system point of view, while the realization becomes more convenient in 0.35 µm technology (BCD6).
