Abstract
A very low power downconversion mixer has been integrated in a standard 0.35µm CMOS process. The input bandwidth of the mixer is 3.4 GHz, with a noise figure of 22.8 dB, an IIP3 value of +2.3 dBm and a conversion gm of 2.1 mS while consuming less than 100 µA from a 2.7 V supply. The first section of this paper will give an introduction on the circuit, while the second section discusses an overview of the architecture. The second section will explain the details of the working principle and in the last section, the measurement results are discussed.
