  • Abstract
    A new, synchronous, step-down from 3.6V to 1.0V, 1MHz PWM CMOS DC/DC converter IC with light-load mode control capability was developed. The power efficiency reached 80% at 80mA of load current, with a ripple of less than 20 mV. Only a 10µH and 47µF external inductor and capacitor, respectively, are needed.
