Title :
Detector mosaic for ordnance flash location
Abstract :
A 64 × 64 mosaic has been developed for use as the sensor in an ordnance flash locator. The array, consisting of 4096 cells on 10 mil centers, is fabricated using silicon technology combined with an infrared photoconductive film of lead sulphide. This paper will cover the technological problems of making such an array with cell yields greater than 99.9%. Processes leading to improvement of cell yields will be described.
