Abstract :
The passive instantaneous ranging estimation technique using a single station has been studied in this paper, which is very important in electronic warfare system. In this paper, we propose the technique using blind source separation (BSS) to estimate the ranges of targets by non-cooperative sources such as broadcast signals and analysis the performance of the new passive ranging method. The proposed method is verified via computer simulation, which proved that the new passive instantaneous ranging approach is efficient and feasible.
