Abstract :
Differential equations of a curvilinear elastic layer are constructed on the basis of expansion of the solutions of the elasticity theory in terms of the Legendre polynomials. The order of the system of differential equations is independent of the form of the boundary conditions on the layer surfaces, which allows a correct formulation of conditions on contact surfaces. The systems of differential equations for multilayered shells are formulated.
