Abstract :
This study compares the degree of consensus and dissension concerning 29 economics propositions among academic and non-academic economists in Korea. This study is based upon an anonymous questionnaire survey of 167 academic economists and 63 non-academic economists. Some results of this survey such as an ambivalent position between Keynesian, Monetarist and Market Advocate and correlation of average opinion among economists are also compared with those of the Japanese and the U.S. samples, which were surveyed by Takase et al. (2000) with the same propositions. This is the first survey that covers academic and non-academic economists in Korea.
