Abstract :
Rough model is proposed to build vague regions based on rough sets theory after the definition of rough regions, lower approximation regions, upper approximation regions and boundary regions is given. Then the constraints of lower and upper approximate regions are studied to minimize the research scope. With the combination of rough model and RCC-D-5, 73 topological relations are got between simple vague regions in raster regions and described by the 4×4 intersection and inclusion matrix.
