            Abstract : 
This paper aiming at the phenomenon of nonsmooth switching in multiple systems, proposes a novel control algorithm named fuzzy switching multiple (FSM) models based on Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model. Parallel distributed compensation (PDC) scheme is employed to design the controller for FSM. Linear matrix inequality (LMI) condition for ensuring the stability of the close-loop system consisting of a switching fuzzy model and controller is derived from using fuzzy Lyapunov function (FLF). Under this condition, the close-loop of FSM system guarantees stability as well as smooth switching performance. A design example illustrates the utility of the proposed approach.
