  • Abstract
    In this paper, based on the theory of multicarrier (MC) signaling technique and the RAKE receiver, a multicarrier DS-CDMA RAKE system is proposed. We evaluate the system performance over Rayleigh fading channel with multiple access interference (MAI) and narrow-band interference (NBI) present, and compare the results with those of both a single carrier RAKE system and a multicarrier DS-CDMA system. It is shown from the simulation results that the presented model has the capability of suppressing narrow-band interference and multiple-access interference and can support more number of users when the system parameters are selected properly.
