Abstract :
We propose a hybrid transmitter antennae selection and STBC method for TDMA systems with frequency selective fading channels. We show that a superior performance can be obtained for a four transmit antennae based communication system, when best two antennae are chosen according to the channel state feedback information and a time-reversal based STBC is employed. The performance of the proposed scheme is studied against various feedback error rates to demonstrate robustness of the proposed scheme over a simple antennae selection diversity scheme.
