Abstract
In cellular radio communication system, interference control is important to ensure carrier to interference (C/I) ratio in the system is at acceptable level. Since all base stations are co-located in a single platform, aerial platform has opened the possibility of centralized control architecture including power control. However, it forces the system to have high computation power. To reduce the computing load, a sub optimum centralized power control concept, using per - group power assignment technique, is proposed in this paper. Some results obtained from the numerical analysis and simulation present the feasibility of the concept.
