Abstract :
Wavelet de-noising is introduced in channel estimation of OFDM system. The role of wavelet de-noising is to remove the additive interference in the estimate channel transfer function to get more accurate values. It also provides a more credible initial estimation for the channel tracking and prediction algorithms.
