Abstract :
Based on analyzing OFDM signal model of carrier frequency offset (CFO), an efficient joint algorithm of carrier frequency synchronization using one OFDM preamble symbol is present. The cyclic prefix-based method is combined with the preamble symbol correlation in the algorithm. This method is investigated into physical link implementation for CFO estimation and synchronization. Simulation results show that the system attain perfect performance in carrier frequency synchronization on wireless multipath Rayleigh channel COST207 model with vehicle velocity 120 km/h.
