Abstract :
In this paper, two kinds of direct sequences are introduced to the channel estimation in DS-UWB system, and applied in the two channel estimation methods named DA (data-aided) channel estimation and NDA (nondata-aided) channel estimation. The BER performances of the MRC Rake receiver with the two sequences are verified and compared via simulations. The simulation results show that ZCD (zero correlation duration) code performs better than Walsh code with DA channel estimation, but Walsh code outperforms ZCD with NDA channel estimation.
