  • Abstract
    It is a wonderful grope for integrating wireless sensor network which acts as an infrastructure of sensing environment around with open grid computing. The combination of the two systems poses many challengers. This paper has analyzed the key characters of the connecting platform for integrating sensor network with grid. We also designed and developed such a connecting platform which supports communication & collaboration between sensor network and grid. The advantage of the connecting platform is that it is based on Web service resource framework, with the ability of integrating multiple sensor networks with grid; also it supports interoperability among multiple sensor networks. The simulation results show that the notification mechanism which is restricted by the running resource is the key factor for getting sensor data successfully.
