Abstract :
High-power 915-nm and 980-nm AlGaAs/InGaAs/GaAs single-spatial mode slab-coupled optical waveguide (SCOWL) laser diode arrays are described. Quasi-CW output powers of 100 W and CW output powers of 49 W have been demonstrated in single bars.
