Abstract :
Backward-optical-injection mode-locking of a semiconductor optical amplifier fiber laser with a 60-ps optical comb-like dark pulse-train is demonstrated with pulsewidth, linewidth and time-bandwidth product of 1.8 ps, 2.08 nm and 0.47, respectively, after dispersion compensation.
