Abstract
To realize a high gain antenna with a wide bandwidth, a partially corporate feed in alternating phase-fed waveguide arrays is proposed to reduce the long line effect by a half. As the key structure, a three-way divider can control the power dividing to the center output port with a desired ratio by the radius r and the displacement p of an inductive post. The ratio can be controlled in a large range of 1/43∼1/4. Also, the condition of power dividing with equal amplitude and phase to the right and left output ports can also be achieved by the width w of the coupling window and the displacement q of the inductive post. The suppression of reflection to the input waveguide away from the design frequency is also sufficient. This three-way divider shows a wide bandwidth.
