Abstract :
In this paper, the characteristics of a planar inverted-L patch antenna with isosceles triangles are investigated in the 1-GHz - 3.5-GHz band. The design is based on a modified planar inverted-L patch antenna in a finite-sized ground with 50-Omega microstrip feed line. The patch antenna can achieve more flexibility of frequency ratio and it owns the advantage of easy fabrication for the tuning stub is constant for all the prototypes
