  • Abstract
In this paper we explore the results of introducing a cooled flatness regularization term into a multifrequency gradient descent algorithm used in electromagnetic tomography. The regularization allows for the recovery of the permittivity of a cylinder with a high dielectric contrast. The choice of regularization also simplifies the problem of picking a starting model which is problematic in other algorithms.
