Abstract :
A novel compact multi-antenna design suitable for MIMO handheld terminals is proposed. Three low profile antennas are integrated in a 42×42mm2 FR4 substrate circuit board. The bandwidth is greater than 10%, the gain is about 2 dBi while the envelope correlation coefficient between antennas can reach as low as 0.19. Also the back radiation is suppressed through reasonable design.
