Abstract :
Printed dipoles are studied analytically and simple closed-form formulas for the real and imaginary impedance are presented. The formulas explain the printed dipole impedance as a function of the thickness and the permittivity of the substrate. The results of this simple formulation show a good agreement with the numerical and experimental ones.
