Abstract :
A new CAD formulation is proposed to estimate accurately the resonant frequency of rectangular microstrip patches having variable aspect ratios. The computed results are verified by several experiments. Compared to earlier ones, the proposed formula shows much closer approximations when compared with the measurements.
