Abstract
A variety of array configurations are explored to determine good schemes for high-resolution through-the-wall two-dimensional imaging. The recommended solutions have been designed to maintain a reasonable image quality while taking into account practical considerations such as total array span to ensure portability, difficulty in designing coarray weighting for lower sidelobe levels, and increased inter-element spacing (greater than half the wavelength) for reduced mutual coupling effects.
