Abstract
The time domain integral equation (TDIE) method for transient scattering analysis has received considerable attention in the past few years. In this work, the high order vector basis function in Kang et al. (2001) is used for solving three-dimensional time-domain magnetic integral equations (TDMFIE), and thus the tedious evaluation of the space-time integrals in the method-of-moments of the time-domain integral equations is greatly simplified and accelerated. The point matching methods in space and time are implemented for the solution of TDMFIE. Two numerical results are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of this method.
