Abstract :
Description of the design and radiation parameters of multi-beam CO2 lasers with a diffusion gas cooling and with an ac discharge excitation are presented. Results of investigations about remote metals cutting and drilling are presented. Under these conditions heating of the samples was provided by radiation of multi-beam laser and removing of the melt occurs due to recoil momentum of the vapours at simultaneous action on the target of the radiation of pulse periodic YAG:Nd laser. Possibility of application of multi-beam laser radiation for modeling of the processes determining the safety of the nuclear power plans is considered. Dependences of the critical heat fluxes on cladding of the fuel elements in a water at pulse laser heating as a function of heating rate for different materials are received.
