Abstract :
Highly doped ytterbium-erbium phosphate and silicate glasses for microchip laser at the same conditions of experiment (geometry, pumping etc) have been compared. For this purpose a complex of investigations of spectral, luminescent and laser properties in silicate and phosphate glasses with wide range of ytterbium and erbium ions concentrations have been made.
