Abstract
In order to commercialize fuel cell, there have been studies in many fields such as MEA (membrane and electrode assembly), reformer, humidifier and bipolar plate etc. Coolant type and low (or none) humidified gas performances is worth to be studied to overcome low temperature environment including sub zero degree Celcius which would be a common occurrence in public place. In this study, three-dimensional simulation software was used to see the effect of coolant type of ethylene glycol (EG) and water on pressure and velocity distribution of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC).
