Abstract :
The conventional sun charts are good for the given latitude only. It is possible to make a universal sun chart, good for all latitudes, and simple enough to be practical. The author incorporated a drastically simplified concept of the ´solar cross´, a cross with ´the single sun path and multiple Earth positions´, instead of the conventional concept of ´multiple sun paths and the single Earth position´.
