Abstract :
The influence of control grid geometry on microstructure of electron flow in powerful multibeam IOT with individual fine-structure control grids in partial guns (beams) is considered. The guns with ring-shaped and radial control grids are compared. It is shown, that the gun with radial type grid forms an electron beam with smaller degradation of boundary and without azimuthal perturbations of current density.
