Abstract
In this paper, we present a method for generating fighting sport videos summary highlights using flashlight [N. Benjamas et al., May 2005] and player detection by detecting frames that contain close-up flashlight and players. Detected flashlight and distance between players is utilized in efficient summarization of fighting sport videos. The proposed algorithm first player was detected using skin color detection and connected component labeling. Then, the algorithm identifies the correct frame by calculating the distance between players that distance between one player and another one. Our algorithm accurately detects distance between players that it has the ability to capture inherently important events.
