Abstract :
Quadric difference-frequency needs more frequencies to range longer distance or to range more precisely under fixed SNR. The requirements of SNR to range correctly and the ranging precision have been deduced in detail. Then a new method - combination frequency-difference is presented, which improves the performance of ranging under the same condition, especially the ranging effect under low SNR. Finally simulation results verify the validity of the method.
