Abstract
In this paper, a semi-blind minimum mean square error (MMSE) detection algorithm is proposed for the downlink multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing code division multiple access (MIMO-OFDM-CDMA) systems. Compared with the optimal MMSE detection algorithm, the proposed algorithm has only a small performance loss, and does not significantly increase the computational complexity, although it successfully avoids sending any user information from base station to mobile user.
