Abstract :
This paper proposes a swept sampling channel estimator based on the maximum likelihood criterion. It makes use of the swept sampling mechanism to reduce the sample rate and achieves performance as good as the ML estimation at high sample rate. The simulation results on channel estimation MSE and system BER verify this approach.
