    Time-resolved, coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering from internal vibrations in calcite is reported with all the wavelengths in the ultraviolet. Two-photon absorption, excitation-dependent dephasing times, and a comparison of ultraviolet and visible efficiencies are described
