Abstract
Rotational SRS spectrum containing nine spectral components is generated using quasi-cw pulses with energies ranging around 100-300 nJ. Observation of both transient and steady-state behavior in Stokes amplification is reported. Transition from the transient to the steady-state is observed with pulse as long as 13 ns.
