Abstract
The article consists of a Powerpoint presentation on safety regulation examination across different sectors using the new, J-value technique for nuclear electricity. The paper concludes that an open-ended commitment on nuclear safety regulation will increase the commercial risk of new nuclear build and must increase the cost of its electricity accordingly and the J-scale has demonstrated that the industry has been shown to be subject to very significant over-regulation in at least one case
